Manchester United minutes ago lost a third English Premier League game for the first time in 14 years after falling 0-1 to West Brom in Old Trafford.
The Red Devils with Robin van Persie back in the number nine position dominated proceedings from kick off, but met a resolute defense from the Baggies.
West Brom grabbed the only goal of the match with a Chris Blunt freekick and defended in numbers throughout the reminder of the game to grind out a 1-0 win.
Chris Brunt was lucky as his curled strike took a wicked deflection into the top corner on 64th minute.
West Brom goalkeeper Boaz Myill was also at his best, stopping a 90th minute penalty from Van Persie to ensure West Brom kept their lead.
